LA VOCAL COACHING Pop, Rock, Country and R&B Voice Lessons

Frequently Asked Questions / LAVC Policies.

Do you offer free introductory lessons?

You can schedule a 30 minute trial lesson for $25

How long are the lessons?

Lessons are available in 30 minute and 1 hour sessions. (Longer lessons are also available at a slightly higher rate)

30 minute lessons are suitable for younger children, while hour long lessons are appropriate for older children and adults.

Do you have a lesson cancellation policy?

I have a 24 hour lesson cancellation policy. If you inform me at least 24 hours/One day before the scheduled lesson, you won’t be charged for the lesson and will be eligible for a make-up. You will be charged $25 if you cancel in less than 24 hours, and $50 if you fail to show up for a scheduled lesson without contacting me.

What about Holidays, bad weather, or illness?

If the student is ill, the 24 hours cancellation policy applies, but may be lifted at my discretion if I am contacted immediately after the illness is noticed. If you or your child becomes ill late at night, feel free to call or text me to inform me that the next days scheduled lesson will have to be postponed. All rescheduled lessons will be at my convenience.

2 late cancels in a row will result in an additional $50 fee, which will be used as a retainer for future last minute cancellations/missed lessons.

Lessons can be scheduled around holiday and vacation breaks.

Lessons won’t be charged if I cannot get to the studio due to weather, or if I am ill, but I will ALWAYS contact you if such a situation arises, and I expect the same consideration.

Is there a lesson termination policy?

Students may cancel their lessons at anytime by calling me. As a courtesy, I ask that you give a two week notice when possible. Any unused lessons can be used as a gift for a family member or friend, or put on hold and used up to 6 months later.

*Changes to terms and policies will be made with 2 weeks notice to all clients.
